New Radio Host Orientation September 17th!

Boston Free Radio welcomes people interested in becoming radio hosts and DJs to its Orientation session on Monday, September 17 from 8-10pm at Somerville Community Access Television’s studios at 90 Union Square. Join the diverse group of DJs and talk show hosts who produce their programs on BostonFreeRadio.com. Any Massachusetts resident can join — the annual SCATV/BFR membership is $60, which is the only expense for hosting a show (unless you run commercials on your program). No previous radio experience is needed – training is included; however, familiarity with computers and MP3 files is recommended.  Internet Radio is Free Speech Radio — let your voice be heard!

Call the Station Manager at 617-628-8826 or email manager@bostonfreeradio.com for more information and to sign up for the Orientation – or just show up!

Hi Pat – thanks for coming to the meeting. As you found out, you don’t have to become a member until you actually go on the air. You can decide whether or not you want to host a show before paying the membership fee. Thanks.
